Seth P. Shapiro

Seth P. Shapiro is a Partner at Lowthorp Richards, LLP. His practice focuses on estate planning and administration, business and transactional law, and real estate.

For the past two decades Seth has regularly advised individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and small to mid-sized businesses on a wide range of legal and business matters.

Seth has extensive experience assisting clients with their estate planning and administration needs. He works closely with individuals and families to develop comprehensive estate plans designed to preserve assets, minimize uncertainty, and achieve personal and financial goals. He also represents clients in probate and trust-related matters, providing guidance through the administration and resolution of estate issues.

In addition to his estate planning practice, his transactional practice includes negotiation and preparation of commercial and residential leases, purchase and sale agreements, employment agreements, loan transactions, and trademark registrations. He also counsels clients regarding the formation, operation, sale, and dissolution of business entities such as corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships; helping them navigate both day-to-day business needs and long-term strategic objectives.

Since 2022, Seth has also taught Business Associations at the Colleges of Law, Ventura Campus.

Seth earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University, where he participated in the University’s Honors Program. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall) in 2007 and was admitted to the State Bar of California that same year.

An active member of the legal community, Seth is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association. He is known for his thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and his commitment to providing practical, client-focused legal solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs and objectives.

Raised in Simi Valley, Seth now resides in Newbury Park with his wife and four children. In his free time, Seth enjoys spending time with his family, playing ice hockey, and coaching youth lacrosse.
