Darin Marx has become a shareholder and partner at Lowthorp Richards McMillan Miller & Templeman, APC located in Oxnard.
Darin’s practice is focused primarily on litigation involving business, employment, probate, real estate and agricultural matters. Throughout his practice, Darin has provided legal counsel in a broad range of matters, including: business dissolutions and shareholder disputes; various business torts, such as misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair competition claims; real estate matters, ranging from boundary disputes to eminent domain/inverse condemnation; agricultural matters, including PAGA claims, defective seed/root stock claims and wage and hour claims; commercial lease disputes; and, probate and trust litigation, including elder abuse claims and representation of both fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
Darin received his Juris Doctor with distinction from McGeorge School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Justice Traynor Honor Society. He holds a degree in Liberal Arts in Classical Studies from Thomas Aquinas College. In 2002, Darin joined the litigation department at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, LLP, where he worked out of both the Los Angeles and New York offices.
In 2006, Darin moved back to Ventura County and joined Lowthorp Richards. Currently, Darin lives in Ojai with his wife and four children.
