Kenneth M. High Jr.

For over 35 years, Ken High’s practice has been devoted exclusively to real estate sales, leasing, development, taxation, and financing involving all phases of ownership, sale and development of subdivisions, condominiums, apartments, shopping centers, and industrial and office parks. Ken has represented real estate developers, investors, and professional real estate companies, including such representative clients as California State University Channel Islands, BRE Properties, Inc. (a NYSE REIT), GE American Communications, Inc., Procter & Gamble, and Limoneira Company. Ken is also the owner/developer of several residential subdivisions and over 8,000 self-storage units involving 12 self-storage facilities, two industrial parks, an office building, and avocado/citrus properties. Ken is also an AV rated attorney, the highest rating possible by Martindale-Hubbell, the only national rating service for attorneys.

Ken received his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating in the top 25% of his class. He attended the University of California at Berkeley, earning his B.A. with honors. While there, Ken was the recipient of the Wheeler Scholarship – Scholar Athlete Award, with four years of full coverage. He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and Skull and Keys Society. Ken was on the NCAA All-American Water Polo team for three years, and was on the USA National Water Polo Team. He also attended Oxnard High School, where he was a National Merit Scholar, first team All CIF and first team All-American Water Polo.

Ken is also an AV rated attorney, the highest rating possible, by Martindale-Hubbell, the only national rating service for attorneys.

Ken is married to Sandra Pecht High. Their two sons are graduates of Boston College and Notre Dame. Both sons are commercial real estate brokers, one with CB Richard Ellis in Raleigh, North Carolina and the other with Cushman & Wakefield in San Diego, California. Ken’s interests include surfing, skiing, horses, golf, scuba diving, and travel.
