Greg W. Jones is Of Counsel with Lowhtorp Richards. Greg grew up in Ventura and attended Buena High School.
Greg’s primary practice is real estate, business and estate planning. He handles litigation and transactional work in all fields.
Greg has represented parties in easement disputes, quiet title actions, partition actions, real estate fraud cases, construction defect litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, nuisance cases, trespass issues, breach of contract, embezzlement litigation and collection cases. He has represented creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. He handles sales transactions for buyers and sellers in sales of business and real properties and landlords and tenants in lease negotiations.
Greg attended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in English. He received his Law Degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. While in law school he served as Editor in Chief of the BYU Journal of Legal Studies.
Upon graduating from law school, Greg was admitted to the New Mexico Bar and practiced with the law firm of Payne & Ranquist in Albuquerque. Subsequently, he and his family returned to Ventura. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1987.
Greg has lived in Moss, Kristiansand, Trondheim and Oslo in Norway. He speaks, reads and writes Norwegian. He is actively involved in his church, where he has served in leadership positions.
Greg lives in Ventura with his wife. They have four grown children.
