Brian C. Israel is a partner at Lowthorp Richards, LLP. 

Brian’s practice emphasizes conservatorships, estate planning, trust administration, and probate, as well as corporate law and business representation.  

Mr. Israel uses his extensive knowledge and personal approach to effectively and compassionately represent his clients. He is adept at helping families attain peace of mind through comprehensive estate planning and aids families in navigating complex family dynamics that come both before and after death. Furthermore, he is adept at guiding individuals through the probate process. 

Brian is passionate about assisting families through the conservatorship process, whether for a conservatorship of the person and/or the estate. His diverse skill set allows him to support families in providing the best quality of care for their loved ones when their loved ones are unable to care for themselves. Mr. Israel sits on the Ventura County Superior Court’s Private Counsel for Conservatee’s Panel and is regularly appointed by the Court in both general and limited conservatorship cases.  

Mr. Israel is a legal advisor to a wide variety of businesses. In addition to formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities such as LLC’s and corporations, Mr. Israel assists businesses with negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts, leases, and purchase and sales agreements.   

Brian has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law where he received numerous Academic Achievement Awards. Mr. Israel was admitted to the California State Bar in 2013 and began practicing law in his hometown of Ventura that same year.  

An active and long-time board member of the Ventura County Bar Association, Brian served as its President in 2023. He also previously served as President of the Barrister’s section of the Ventura County Bar Association. Brian regularly volunteers his time providing Pro Bono work through the Camarillo Health Care District and engages in various other charitable and public service endeavors. 

In his free time, Mr. Israel enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two young children. He is an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers. He regularly plays basketball and the guitar and enjoys barbequing for his family. He especially cherishes family time with his sons.
