Brett Templeman is a native of Ventura County and a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of San Diego – School of Law.
Brett began practicing law in 2003 and has personally tried many court and jury trials, achieving numerous multimillion dollar trial verdicts, arbitration awards and settlements for his clients. He is the 2017 President of Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association (VCTLA) and is an active member of the Ventura County Bar Association (VCBA) and the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). In 2013 he was nominated for the VCTLA’s Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. While the majority of his cases are within the Counties of Ventura and Santa Barbara, he has handled hundreds of cases throughout the State of California including federal court.
Brett dedicates the bulk of his practice to helping people and businesses who have suffered harm due to the misconduct of others. He specializes in the following areas: personal injury; wrongful death; employment law; and real property damage cases stemming from flood and fire.
Brett is a lifelong waterman and former World Champion Bodysurfer. He lives in Ojai with his wife and daughter.
